R6 Console Sensitivity Settings

Build a controller setup for Rainbow Six Siege by tuning horizontal speed, vertical speed, ADS, dead zones, and acceleration one step at a time.

Controller starting ranges

These R6 console sensitivity settings are not universal best values. Use them as a controlled starting point, then test your own stick tension, thumbstick height, dead zone, and role in game.

Vertical30-4045-6065-80

Right dead zone5-75-96-10

How to tune without losing consistency

  1. Start with horizontal and vertical sensitivity before changing ADS.
  2. Lower right-stick dead zone until drift appears, then raise it slightly.
  3. Use one optic for micro-corrections and one for longer holds.
  4. Change only one controller setting per test session.

Common console mistakes

ADS too fast

If long-range holds feel shaky, reduce ADS before touching horizontal speed.

Dead zone too high

A high right-stick dead zone can make small corrections feel delayed or sticky.

Changing too much

A stable controller setup needs repeated tests, not a full reset after every bad match.
